The Reporting Hub provides two options for tracking user activity: integration with Google Analytics and the AuditAccessLog table in your Reporting Hub SQL database.

  • Google Analytics: Clients can add their Google Analytics tracking code to monitor user interactions. This option is available to all subscription tiers, but it comes with some limitations. User activity may be incomplete if visitors have ad blockers enabled, and it does not capture detailed data such as which report tab a user viewed.

  • SQL Table: For more comprehensive usage tracking, clients on the Commercial-tier subscription can use their AuditAccessLog SQL table. Detailed information, such as which report tab a user viewed and specific visualizations they clicked on, is captured and stored in a table in your Reporting Hub SQL database.
